TESTIMONIALS
“Robin tutored my son Zach in math for six years. I called her because he was struggling with 7th grade algebra and had not liked his two previous tutors. She was immediately able to tune into his learning style and personality and really helped him understand the concepts from class. His grade improved and he gained confidence in his math skills, he even started to think math was fun! Later on Robin was invaluable in helping Zach prepare for the math section of his ACT test.”

“My high schooler loved working with Robin and describes her as “gifted at explaining things.” He especially appreciated her ability to offer different approaches to the same problem. If his teacher explained a math concept in a way that didn’t click, Robin was always able clarify the issue or suggest another strategy that worked better for his learning style.”

“Robin is the BEST! She is extremely smart, patient, and has an incredible way of explaining complex topics to people of all ages. After years of struggling with math, hours of various after school tutoring programs, and anxiety that math would always hold me back academically, my family found Robin during Algebra 1 in 8th grade. Over the years, my one hour session with Robin per week felt like my actual math lesson — where I actually learned all of the topics from the previous week — and my math periods in school were spent reinforcing these topics. Her teaching is truly magic! Thinking of college applications and how else I could set myself apart, I decided to take AP Calculus AB in senior year — this is something I would never have imagined myself doing years prior, and having Robin by my side instilled this confidence. Consistent sessions with Robin is the reason I succeeded in math all throughout high school, which ultimately contributed to the GPA that got me into my dream school, UC Berkeley. ”

“Our daughter who is a special needs student has benefited immensely from tutoring with Robin over the last two years during her junior and senior years in advanced mathematics classes.
Robin is very caring and patient and her lessons have been a great comfort to our daughter by alleviating stress and anxiety.
She is extremely methodical and well organized and able to breakdown complex math and explain the difficult concepts with clarity to get that crucial light bulb when it all makes sense.
Robin has truly made a difference in our daughter’s success in school and we would recommend her to anyone whose child is stressed or struggling in math!”

“Robin is an excellent math tutor. She tutored my daughter (and several of her friends) during middle school and high school. She was able to adjust her teaching style to what would work best for my daughter. What made her tutoring even better was how much my daughter enjoyed working with her!”
